Space sweatshirt for Christmas
Posted: December 25th, 2008 | No Comments »Once my son told me about one of his dreams. We and his friends were in his kindergarten and a strange man came in. He had a cool spacesuit with sensors and displays. The man let the kids try the suit but as my son was next his Mom waked him up.
It seemed to be a perfect idea to make a space sweatshirt for him for Christmas. I began collecting simple instruments like compass, thermometer and more. I found a cool sweatshirt with a hood, which I cut off and used it to make sockets for each instrument. I fastened the gadgets with a Velcro, so they are easily removable in case the sweatshirt needs to be washed.
Gadgets:
* Ironed stickers
* Watch with magnet fixing (and an extra carabiner fixing just in case)
* Compass
* Digital thermometer (disassembled feber)
* Flashlight
