Type numbers on iphone without switching keyboard layout

I always wondered why are numbers and extra characters so difficult to reach on iphone. It’s a multitouch device but there is no temporary keyboard layout change option available like Shift and Alt keys on PCs.

I thought it had to give an option for this and so I tried several things out.

The solution was:

You hit the ‘123′ button but do not release the screen. Slide your finger over the character you want to type. Then release the screen and you have the original keyboard layout again.

‘Back to Top’ in iPhone’s Safari

I was wondering why isn’t there a ‘back to top’ button in my iphone when I browse long webpages. There is really no button for it, but I figured out that if you tap the top of the screen you are back to top immediately.
